Central City is a historic mining settlement founded in 1859 during the Pike’s Peak Gold Rush and known as the “Richest Square Mile on Earth”. Central City and the adjacent city of Black Hawk form the federally designated Central City/Black Hawk Historic District.
The 2017 annual training conference of the Association for Crime Scene Reconstruction will be held at the Ameristar Hotel & Casino in Black Hawk, Colorado. 2017 Training Conference Program
Attendees should plan on arriving Monday February 6, 2017 to be ready to start at 8:00 am Tuesday Feb 7, 2017.
Monday: Registration
Tuesday: Includes case reviews, lectures, and studies regarding Crime Scene Reconstruction.
Wednesday: A full day of practical, hands-on workshops, morning and afternoon related to Crime Scene Reconstruction topics.
Thursday: Additional case reviews, lectures and studies in the areas of Crime Scene Reconstruction.
Continental Breakfast, Lunch Buffet and Banquet are included with the conference fee of Member – $275, Non-Member – $325 and Student – $150
Last Piece Society: On Tuesday evening all conference attendees are invited to present a case and seek input from experts attending from around the world. Past cases have been resolved through these group discussions and expert recommendations!

Activities are planned for significant others accompanying attendees.
Transportation to and from Denver International Airport is being arranged for those coming in on Monday and Tuesday and leaving Thursday and Friday. Details to follow. Black Hawk is a one hour and fifteen minute drive (56 miles) from DIA.
